Cloudflare just added Personal Assistants as a category in Security Analytics. These are the AI agents people send to websites to compare products, find support answers or buy something for them. You can now see which of them are hitting your site, which paths they request, and whether they make it to product pages or checkout, or just hit errors.
Then you can act on it. Under Security Settings → AI Crawler and Agent access policies, you can set Allow, Block, or Block on pages with ads for each supported agent. For example, you could block agents by default on ad-supported pages and still let one you trust through.
If you have Account Abuse Protection on (it's in early access), you can also see which agents are tied to which user accounts. That means you can tell an agent a customer has used for weeks apart from one that appeared today.
Why this matters
Being able to see and track which personal agents have access to your site will change the game on agentic checkout.
This will change the game because agents will be able to shop for you, like a personal shopper agent. Right now it's hard to see what agents are doing on your site. This lets you see which agents are visiting and what they're doing.
The full details are in Cloudflare's post.
